Chemistry Class: Roommate Show, Episode 21

Chemistry Class: Roommate Show, Episode 21

Welcome back to chemistry class! In this series, we’re looking at the historically strong 24-25 Nova Knicks. This week, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart are back with their podcast, Roommates Show. They’ve done enough to keep me coming back episode after episode, and I’m not a podcast guy. You should all be impressed.

If you haven’t heard/watched any of these episodes, you may still not know who JB and Hart are off the court. Josh Hart is undoubtedly one of the funniest and most likable guys in the NBA, while Brunson plays the role of the older brother who simultaneously annoys Josh and pushes him to go further.

The most important thing to take away from all this? These guys are just really good friends. And I don’t just mean Brunson and Hart – I’m talking about all the Knicks. Of course, the Nova Knicks have known each other for a long time. But the rest of the locker room also enjoys it. The whole team enjoys playing basketball together and that leads to one victory after another.

Episode 21 consists mainly of Brunson getting a discount on his contract, the Olympics, and typical Josh shenanigans. Some of the highlights include:

Jalen Brunson on his extension:

Brunson talks about his decision to take a massive pay cut. “I wanted to be here. I wanted to show that actions speak louder than words. I want this team to be together for a long time, and I want to win here.”

Brunson and Hart on the signing of Cam Payne:

“Greetings, Terry Johnson.”

On Steph Curry’s Olympic greatness:

About Noah Lyles:

“Let me put it this way: I really wanted him to lose.” – Josh Hart

Overall, a more relaxed episode without a guest. It’s been almost a month between episodes, but not much has happened in the NBA world. However, summer is coming to an end and things will soon be looking up again.

Until next time in chemistry class!
