Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Vijay Raaz’s dismissal from the film, Vijay claimed that his dismissal was due to him not greeting Ajay Devgn on the first day. In contrast, producer Kumar Mangat cited Raaz’s alleged rude behaviour towards the crew as the reason for his dismissal.

Now, Sanjay Mishra breaks his silence on Vijay Raaz’s successor and explains, “I have a deep emotional bond with Ajay sir. When my brother passed away, he was there to support me. We were always there for each other, through thick and thin. When he calls me for a film project, it is not just any other project, but more than that – it is a testament to our friendship. One call from him is enough and I am there and he is always there for me in the same way. That is all I can say at the moment.”

Kumar Mangat said, “Yes, it is true that we took Vijay Raaz out of the film because of his behaviour on the sets. He demanded bigger rooms, a vanity cart and also charged too much for the spotboys. In fact, his spotboy was getting Rs 20,000 per night, more than any big actor. Britain is an expensive country and everyone got standard rooms during the shoot, but he demanded premium suites. When we tried to explain the charges to him, he would not understand and became rude.”

He added, “His constant reply was, ‘Aap logo ne mujhe approach kiya, main kaunsa saamne se aya kaam mangne’. While we tried to meet all his demands, his behaviour got worse and worse as his demands never ended. He started demanding two cars for the journey of a three-member team. How can we do this? When the EP said no, he was rude to the EP (executive producer). After all the discussions, we decided to remove him from the film.”

Vijay Raaz had a different story to tell, “I reached the venue before the trial began. I reached the van and Ravi Kishan came to meet me. The EP, Ashish and producer Kumar Mangat came to meet me followed by director Vijay Arora. I got out of the van and spotted Ajay Devgn standing about 25 metres away. I did not go to greet him as he was busy and continued talking to my friends nearby.”

He continued, “25 minutes later, Mr. Kumar Mangat came to me and said, ‘Aap Film Se Nikal Jaaye, Hum Aapko Nikal Rahe Hai’. The only misconduct on my part is that I did not greet Mr. Ajay Devgn. I did not even meet the crew and those are the only people I interacted with. I was removed from the film 30 minutes after I arrived on the set for not greeting Ajay Devgn. These are powerful people and the talk of misconduct does not come up at all.”
