“Dance Moms” Kalani Hilliker sends an unmistakable message about Abby Lee Miller with Taylor Swift’s song

Kalani Hilliker has joined the trend of people commenting on the difficult times of their past by referring to one of the songs that appear on Taylor Swift’s new album The “Tortured Poets” section.

A new TikTok video that Dancing mothers Alum shared an unequivocal message for Abby Lee Millerthe dance teacher behind Lifetime’s hit reality TV series.

Hilliker’s TikTok featured three photos paired with a specific lyric from Swift’s new song “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” The lyric, “You wouldn’t last an hour in the institution where they raised me,” has become a popular meme in the days since the pop star released her eleventh studio album on April 19.

Hilliker, 23, posed in a flowing white skirt and matching off-the-shoulder crop top in the first image in her TikTok. The next two snaps were taken inside Miller’s studio. The first showed a look inside the Abby Lee Dance Company and the second showed the exterior of the dance instructor’s Los Angeles studio in a photo taken across the street.

“Had to,” Hilliker simply wrote in her TikTok caption.

Several of Hilliker’s TikTok followers said they “knew it when we saw it,” while others declared that the actress and dancer is “winning this trend.”

Hilliker was part of Dancing mothers‘ lead actress from 2014 to 2017. She entered Miller’s world of dance when she starred in Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition in 2013, when she was 13 years old.

One of Hillikers Dancing mothers Co-Stars, Sarah Huntalso tapped into the “Asylum” trend with her own TikTok. In her post, Hunt paired a recent photo of herself with the same interior view of Miller’s studio that Hilliker used in her post. Hunt’s TikTok was paired with the same clip from Swift’s new song.

Unlike Hilliker, Hunt clarified the meaning of her post in her TikTok caption, writing, “I swear this is a joke, it wasn’t that bad I promise 😭 but seriously, without this place I wouldn’t be where I am today. ❤️”
