“Not worth keeping” – Team Dana White breaks silence on judge Howie Booth’s removal from Kai Kara-France vs. Steve Erceg fight at UFC 305
In one of the most interesting events of the night, judge Howie Booth was removed from the panel for the co-main event of UFC 305. During the heavyweight bout between Tai Tuivasa and Jairzinho Rozenstruik, most people felt there was no need for judges. However, the fight went the full distance and Booth scored the fight in favor of Tuivasa (30-27), much to the surprise of many.
Rozenstruik won the fight by decision, but Booth’s score was not honored by the promotion. He was immediately removed from the co-main event bout. During the post-fight press conference, Dave Shaw shared the details of the decision.
