Summary of episode 7 of “The Elusive Samurai”
Half a year has passed since the fall of the Kamakura Shogunate and winter is here. A new enemy appears and has his sights set on Tokiyuki.
Sadamune Ogasawara and Sukefusa Ichikawa join forces with Shokan, a ruthless swordsman who wants to conquer the Sawa region. Meanwhile, Yorishige’s prophetic abilities are fading, raising doubts about the future.
To counter the growing threat, Tokiyuki proposed using his Elusive Warrior group for surveillance. During one patrol, he encountered Fubuki, an experienced young warrior.
A confrontation with Kojiro Nezu and Ayako Mochizuki was interrupted when Fubuki recognized Shizuku. After the attack on the Sawa Shrine, a shocking revelation followed.
All the adults were killed, but the surviving children, trained in combat, had fortified the shrine.
Faced with the threat of invasion of the Sawa area, Tokiyuki asked Fubuki for help in defending the village. At the end of the episode, a sinister plot unfolds: Shokan reveals his intention to take control of the Sawa Grand Shrine.
