Some Taylor Swift fans couldn’t believe what they saw on a Kansas City Chiefs baseball cap sold on the team’s official merchandise website.

A friendship bracelet?

It certainly was. And it was no surprise because we know how much Swifties love their merch, and they couldn’t get their hands on this NFL-licensed cap fast enough. Some fans on social media said it was their first piece of Chiefs gear.

Below the team’s arrowhead logo on the front is a pearl bracelet embroidered with the words “Super Bowl LVIII Champions.”

And as if that reference wasn’t obvious enough, right next to it is a pair of red lips and one of those heart hands that Swift loves to show. (Travis Kelce, the star of “Boyfriend and Chiefs,” also shows hearts.)

The description of the $29.99 hat calls it a “unisex New Era black Kansas City Chiefs In My Champ’s Era A-frame 9FORTY adjustable hat.” (The website and all online stores for NFL merchandise are operated by Fanatics, not the Chiefs.)

“Got mine today too! Was going to ‘share’ it with my daughter but she 100% claimed it as her own. It’s so incredibly cute and looks even better on her!” X-user @TotheNichols wrote about the hat, just one of many who went crazy for it.

“Ten out of ten! Thirteen out of ten! Eighty-seven out of ten!” raved super Swiftie Alex Day in a TikTok, referring to Swift’s lucky number 13 and Kelce’s jersey number.

(Someone missed an opportunity by not pricing in 13 or 87. Just a side note.)

The story of how Kelce wanted to give her a bracelet with his phone number on it during her performance at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium last summer has now become Swiftie legend.

He didn’t have the chance to meet her that hot July night, but he didn’t really need the gesture and now those bracelets have a special meaning for Chiefs Kingdom.

Fans of other teams also wanted the new armband cap.

But did you know my Chiefs hat with the little heart friendship bracelet arrived the day of #KelceJam?” tweeted @preppydarling on X.

“It’s so cute,” one fan gushed on X. “It’s crazy how much I want this hat considering I live in California, am a 49ers fan, and don’t wear hats. But every time I see it I freak out and want to buy it.”

“I’m torn about whether I want it back in stock. lol.”
