Reward for information related to the death of a 12-year-old girl
Miami Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the murder of Isabella’s Amor-Carlos.
She was the eighth child killed in Dayton this year.
On August 24, just before 1 a.m., bullets ripped through her family’s home on West Fairview Avenue in Dayton.
The 12-year-old girl and her 11-year-old sister were sleeping in bed upstairs. Isabella’s was killed. According to Major Brian Johns of the Dayton Police Department, the suspects fired shots at three homes.
“Approximately 37 gunshots were fired at the scene, striking 33, 39 and 41 West Fairview Avenue,” Johns said during a press conference. “Based on the evidence, we believe two different shooters were involved in the murder.”
No other injuries were reported. Investigators are hopeful that the public can help solve this case.
“We are confident that there are people in the community who know who shot at this house,” Johns said.
Johns is also asking residents and businesses in the area to check their external security cameras and doorbell cameras to see if they have recorded anyone.
