editor Forge of Serenity announced today that it has developers Freebird Games highly influential narrative adventure title “To the Moon” for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles. It is a story-driven experience about two doctors who travel backwards through the memories of a dying man in order to artificially fulfill his final wish.

No release date has been announced for this upcoming port, but the game is currently available on PC via Steam. In parallel, To the Moon’s “The Beach Episode” will be coming to PC via Steam on September 20th.

Console gamers will soon finally have the opportunity to meet To the moon Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts. The doctors give people the amazing ability to turn back the clock to the beginning of their life, but only in the patient’s mind.

This procedure is very serious because the new life is the last thing patients remember before they take their last breath. Therefore, the procedure is only performed on patients on their deathbed to fulfill their last wishes that they wanted to fulfill while they were alive.

This unusual adventure follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts as they work to fulfill the dream of an old man named Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny’s past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the confusing events that spanned a lifetime, they try to figure out why the frail old man’s dying wish made him what he is.

And Johnny’s last wish is of course… to fly to the moon.
