ABOUT THE
Curtis Cup

The first Curtis Cup, officially called The Women’s International Cup, was not officially held until 1932. Held every two years, the competition pits the best women’s players from the United States of America against a similar team from Great Britain and Ireland. Although it was hoped that many nations would eventually join the competition, the Curtis Cup remained a two-team competition.
