The K-pop girl group OH MY GIRL celebrated their long-awaited comeback with the new single “Classified”.

The song is the first single from OH MY GIRL’s newly released 10th mini album, “Dreamy Resonance”. The girl group said about “Classified” The Korea Herald that the song was “completely different from our usual summer songs”.

“This song conveys a message of comfort for those who need someone by their side to support them. As you can see in the song’s music video, we are portrayed as dolls that provide comfort to children,” added member Yooah.

OH MY GIRL also talked about their career together, which has now lasted for almost ten years. Hyojung said that through their “years of experience,” the girl group has “developed skills to express music in their own way.”

“We used to be passive in interpreting our music, but today we add our own interpretation to our music to better express the lyrics and also convey that message in our performances. We now have a broader musical spectrum,” she added.

“Dreamy Resonance” comes over a year after their last project, July 2023’s “Golden Hourglass.” This mini-album was the girl group’s first without founding member Jiho, who left the K-pop band in May 2022, shortly after the release of their second studio album “Real Love.”
