Bangkok, Thailand – A tragic accident occurred when a 25-year-old man fell from the 5th floor of a commercial building while sleepwalking and died instantly. According to his friend, the victim was known to be cheerful but suffered frequent episodes of sleepwalking.

The incident was first reported on the popular Facebook page “Dao Pad Chaek,” which posted pictures and details of the man who tragically fell from the fifth floor of a building in Phra Ratchawang police district. Initial police investigations revealed that the building was five stories high and the man fell from his bedroom on the top floor. The room had no protective window bars and the man lived there with two others. One of his roommates, a relative, told police that the victim frequently sleepwalked.

Reporters visited the crime scene at the five-story commercial building in Bangkok’s Phra Nakhon district. It was confirmed that the area between the fourth and fifth floors had no window grilles. According to the victim’s employer, the man had worked there for over two years and often mentioned his sleepwalking habits. His employer had warned him of the dangers and regularly warned him to be careful. The man had reported instances where he slept on the fifth floor but woke up in the bathroom on the ground floor.

A nearby beverage vendor described the victim as an easy-going and cheerful person who was often seen with his close friend. The two regularly shopped for food together. She expressed her shock at the sudden tragic event and noticed how he had fallen from the building.

The police are currently continuing their investigation. A close friend of the victim has been brought in for questioning to clarify the circumstances that led to his death. (TNA)
