Solheim Cup veteran Georgia Hall among the four captain candidates for the European team in the match against the USA
LONDON (AP) — Georgia Hall will take part in the Solheim Cup for the fifth year in a row after the English golfer was named one of the four The captain’s selection was announced on Monday for the match against the USA next month.
Hall, three-time Major winner Anna Nordqvist of Sweden and Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen all return from the European team that won the Cup after a 14:14 draw in Spain last year.

Eight players had already automatically qualified for European participation: the Swedish trio Maja Stark, Linn Grant and Madelene Sagstrom, Charley Hull from England, Leona Maguire from Ireland, Céline Boutier from France, Carlota Ciganda from Spain and Esther Henseleit from Germany.
The 2024 Solheim Cup will be played September 13-15 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
The USA has not won since 2017, but still leads the series 10-8.
US captain Stacy Lewis is expected to announce her three picks on Tuesday.
Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Lauren Coughlin, Ally Ewing, Allisen Corpuz, Megan Khang, Andrea Lee, Rose Zhang and Alison Lee have already qualified.
