CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Three more Charlotte Harris Teeters now have North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicle (NCDMV) kiosks.

The new self-service kiosks can be found at the following locations:

• Quail Corners (8538 Park Road, Charlotte)
• Downtown Charlotte (8600 University City Boulevard, Charlotte)
• Central Avenue (1704 Central Avenue, Charlotte)

These kiosks complement the three original locations announced in March:

• The Corners at Brier Creek (4221 Corners Parkway, Raleigh)
• Riverbend Village (4701 Smith Farm Road, Charlotte)
• Highland Center (2800 Raeford Road, Fayetteville)

The NCDMV recently launched these kiosks to “provide services outside of normal office hours and reduce lines and wait times at offices across the state.”

Initially, kiosk users could only renew or duplicate driver’s licenses or ID cards or register to vote. Officials announced on Monday, August 12, that Services at the kiosks would be expanded.

Now users can renew vehicle registrations and pay property taxes on new vehicles. At the end of the transaction, the kiosk prints a license plate sticker and registration card.
