State Police Calls: Charges filed after brawl with water bottles that resulted in injuries
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following incidents:
Charges filed after brawl with water bottles resulted in injuries
PSP Punxsutawney responded to a report of an argument between a man and a woman on August 25 at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Airport Road in Bell Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, two known perpetrators threw water and water bottles at each other, causing physical injuries to one of the participants.
Those involved are a 57-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man, both from Punxsutawney.
One of the actors was taken into custody, the case was processed and transported to the Jefferson County Jail for arraignment.
A charge of harassment was filed against the other party by the office of District Judge Jacqueline Mizerock.
Domestic incident in Brookville
On Saturday, August 24, at approximately 8:06 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Parochial Street in Brookville, Jefferson County.
According to police, those involved are a 32-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Brookville.
The office of District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak is currently preparing charges.
The names of the suspects were not released.
