Unfortunately, fast travel is not available in the early stages of the game, so players must initially travel on foot or with the aforementioned speeder. Fortunately, unlocking fast travel in Star Wars Outlaws is relatively straightforward, as the mechanics are tied to the progression of the main story. The following guide explains how everything works and when exactly players can start fast traveling.

How to unlock fast travel in Star Wars Outlaws

When players begin their adventure on Cantonica, they will not see a fast travel option due to the linear and cramped environment of Canto Bight. However, once they arrive on the moon Toshara and the game becomes a bit more open, they will see fast travel points on the map; the first of these is the Mirogana City landing zone.

Unfortunately, players cannot fast travel immediately, as, similar to saving in Star Wars Outlaws, Fast travel is not possible during missions. Therefore, players will have the first chance to use it after completing the Underworld mission, as the first few hours of the game consist of consecutive missions. Once they complete Underworld, players only need to Open the map, Mark a fast travel pointand then Press either the Square button (PlayStation) or the X button (Xbox) to fast travel.

How to unlock more fast travel locations

In most cases, players can unlock new landing zones simply by visiting them, although there are one or two notable exceptions. Some of the fast travel locations in Star Wars Outlaws are located deep in the territory of the game’s criminal factions. In these cases, players must increase their reputation with a faction before they can use their landing zones. They can do this by completing missions for them or making decisions that work in their favor.
