Agreement reached! AMA will work with TikTok to remove harmful videos
As we have all seen, the social network TikTok has recently turned into a “cauldron” where many videos circulate that do not aim to convey a decent message to the public, but even harm it!
In this context, the AMA, the Audiovisual Media Authority, has signed a cooperation agreement with TikTok to remove harmful content posted on the platform.
This was announced through a post on social networks by Armela Krasniqi, President of the AMA, who pointed out that citizen complaints will now be forwarded directly to TikTok to remove inappropriate content on the platform.

“We have established a cooperation with the TikTok platform.
Any malicious content posted on this platform will be logged on the open channel on behalf of the AMA for review and if deemed so by our teams, we will take necessary action.
Starting today, I urge you to report any content that you believe is harmful, depicts or incites violence, contains hate speech, or violates the rights of children and communities, using the relevant link on the official AMA website.
Any content that restricts our freedoms must be banned.
#Co-regulation is already the widely accepted formula for a media market that benefits everyone and we can become an active part of this process.”
