Popular social media platform Instagram has announced a new feature that allows users to add music to their Instagram profile to customize their profile and give it a personal touch.

This will add a button to your Instagram profile that visitors can click and listen to your selected song. You can select up to 30 seconds of the selected song.

How to add music to your Instagram profile

Here’s how to easily add music to your Instagram profile.

• Open the Instagram app on your device.
• Click on the profile icon at the bottom right.
• Now click on “Edit profile” and then tap “Add music to your profile”.
• Now click on “Select a song for your profile”.
• Search for your favorite song or browse the For You section to select a song.
• Select the song you want to use and choose the clip duration for your profile.

Your selected song will appear on your profile until you change or remove it. When you tap the play button, a 30-second clip of the song will play. This feature is available for all consumer and creator accounts.
