Destiny 2 Echoes Act 3 Artifact Perks
In this weekly “This Week In Destiny” blog post, Bungie revealed the five new Artifact Perks coming to Destiny 2 with the final act of the “Echoes” episode. These will go live on Tuesday alongside the launch of Act 3 next week.
Below is the full list of new artifact perks in Destiny 2 Echoes Act 3:
- Automatic rifle overload: Continuous fire from your equipped auto rifles creates bullets that stun the fighter, delay ability energy regeneration, and reduce the fighter’s damage. Strong against Overload champions. Additionally, auto rifles are always Overloaded when this modifier is active.
- Authorized Mod: Charged: The energy cost of the Charged Up mod is significantly reduced.
- Continuous fire: By continuously damaging fighters with an automatic rifle, you increase your damage resistance.
- Target Car Loader: If you have an automatic rifle equipped, defeating combatants reloads your equipped weapon and temporarily increases weapon damage. Grants bonus progress when performing finishing blows while surrounded.
- Shock and awe: If you have an Arc or Prismatic subclass equipped, Arc Fatalities while empowered summon a burst of lightning that damages and shakes targets.
While the story of this episode is interesting and there are definitely new weapons, armor, cosmetics, and new activities to acquire, the delivery structure was heavily criticized by fans who were frustrated by the heavy time limitation of the content.
Many players felt that the pace of the episode was too slow, with key moments and activities spread out over several weeks and not all available at once.

Bungie has addressed this issue and assured players that the story highlights for the next episode, “Revenant,” will be released simultaneously and without a time limit.
In addition, Echoes Act 3 also introduces a brand new exotic mission, which according to Deputy Game Director Robbie Stevens is one of the biggest in Destiny history.
