Comic Watchers – Episode 229: Alex Paknadel rises from the ashes with Sentinels and Marvel Infinity Series
Superstar writer Alex Paknadel ventures into the world of the X-Men films as the “From The Ashes” era begins after the fall of X and the end of the Krakoan era.
Paknadel is writing the upcoming miniseries “Sentinels,” about a squad of soldiers, each bearing the scars of world-shattering superhero conflicts and armed with nanotechnology, tasked with apprehending dangerous mutants who threaten the common good.
He is also currently writing the Marvel Infinity comic X-Men: From The Ashes, which is set around the globe and beyond. In the upcoming titles, new teams form to face new threats to mutantkind, beloved characters fulfill their long-awaited destinies as solo heroes, and other groups of mutants band together to survive in a world that now fears them more than ever. They may share the same dream, but they have different missions.
Alex stopped by to chat with Comic Watch’s Live Show The Comic Observers about both series and his work.
Guardian will be in stores in October and X-Men: From the Ashes currently appears on the Marvel Unlimited service
