Reactions from the NFL world to episode 3 of Bears “Hard Knocks”
The third episode of “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears” premiered Tuesday night and fans were more than pleased that it aired on time after last week’s delay.
In Episode 3, we saw more of Caleb Williams and Matt Eberflus talking basketball, a look at general manager Ryan Poles trying to trade pass rusher Matthew Judon, the team’s joint practice with the Cincinnati Bengals, a look at the huddle at last Saturday’s preseason win, and some new stars – rookie punter Tory Taylor, quarterback Tyson Bagent, and his charismatic father Travis.
Looking around X (formerly Twitter), it’s clear that episode three was the most well-received yet. Here’s what the NFL world is saying after episode three of “Hard Knocks.”
This was by far the best episode of Hard Knocks so far

By far the best episode of “Hard Knocks”. Was locked up the whole time. A few insights:
-I love how calculating Poles is. He knows his limits and sticks to them. Judon just didn’t want to come here and it is what it is… nothing Poles could have done to convince him…

Yes, episode 3 of Hard Knocks was pretty damn phenomenal.
They gave us everything in this episode. Way to go, HBO.

Such a good #HardKnocks Consequence!
I liked the segment with Judon and how Caleb relayed the plays to the offense even though he couldn’t hear all the plays in his helmet.
When I heard Caleb say that he doesn’t get nervous, I got chills down my spine 😳#DaBears

“I wanted to tell you that I love you, but that would be weird because we just met.” – this is one of my favorite Hard Knocks moments ever pic.twitter.com/62HqftujOG

Kevin Warren has his fingerprints on every picture of #HBO‘S #HardKnocks … I’m not surprised he got his own section of the stadium, even though it was shorter than I expected.

The best episode of Hard Knocks yet. America just wasn’t ready for Tyson Bagent’s father

Hard Knocks has always been a one-on-one show. The production and timeliness have always been excellent. But it’s different when it’s your favorite team on the line.

Nobody has any idea how difficult it is
I love the focus on Hard Knocks’ special teams

My biggest takeaway from Hard Knocks is how many miles ahead of Joe Schoen Ryan Poles is.
The guy runs laps around him in the off-season show https://t.co/Q59ONcwnc9

This was by far the best episode of #HardKnocks still.
It’s actually incredible how good the chemistry seems to be between the people on the team.
This was rare when I played sports for free as a kid, and I’m sure it’s rare on a professional team full of millionaires…
