For Halle Berry, James Bond is Pierce Brosnan. Forever.
“He will always be my Bond, always. I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan,” said Berry, Brosnan’s co-star in the 2002 Bond film. Die another daytold Wired on Thursday. “He restored my faith in men in this film. There could be no man who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan.”

“Bond wasn’t on my bucket list to be in,” Berry said, “but I’ve always loved the films. And having been in one, I feel like I’m part of film history. These films are iconic. They will be a part of our history forever, and I’m really honored to have been part of a film like this, especially with Pierce.”
In the two years following her Bond appearance, Berry played high-profile roles, including Storm in X2: Unity of the X-Men and the title role in CatwomanThe latter was panned and, 20 years after its release, holds a measly 8 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 197 reviews.

Nevertheless, she does not seem to regret it.
“I loved it,” Berry told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show this week. “It was panned. The critics said it was crap. And balls aren’t that bad.”
