Red Dead Redemption meets Far Cry and Dino Crisis in a wild new PS5 game
Dino Crisis is a game that I have been hoping to see come back one day, so if you tell me there is a game that takes this idea and Red Dead Redemption 2Count me in …
If you are also excited about this concept, you should Son and Bones on your radar as it launches for PlayStation 5 later this year…
Also available for PS5 this year: Astro Bot iin his own platform adventure! Check out what the cute mascot is up to below
Back to Son and Bones but as I said, it has common DNA with Dino Crisiswho is yearning for an official remake from Capcom, seriously, Resident Evil has had plenty of those so far, give another IP a chance…
Next to Dino Crisis I would also say it’s very similar to Turok though, and I hope most of you know which series I mean.
Now you’re probably wondering where the connection to Red Dead Redemption comes from: The game is set in the Wild West and the player takes on the role of Sheriff Sam Judge.
However, instead of riding a horse and arresting outlaws, you’ll be battling prehistoric threats, including the fearsome T-Rex.
Honestly, it’s reminiscent of the King Kong game with Peter Jackson, which may have brought back a core memory for some of you because it was an absolute blast.
No release date for Son and Bones hasn’t been announced yet, but the developer promises it’s “coming soon… very, very soon… seriously,” so we can only assume a late 2024 release is planned.
Be sure to keep an eye on this game though, because with any luck it could be a spiritual successor to those retro dino hunting games we used to love but don’t get anymore…
