Pedestrians, drivers and motorcyclists die in traffic accidents in South Jersey
PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP – Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist dead.
Gladerby Bredy, 32, of Philadelphia was struck at the intersection of Arney’s Mount and North Pemberton Road around 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 10, according to parish police.
He was one of three victims of fatal traffic accidents in South Jersey in recent days.
Also on Monday, 61-year-old Elizabeth Greco died in a car accident in Fairfield, Cumberland County.
Greco, a Fairfield resident, crashed into a tree near Fairton Millville Road at about 1:35 p.m. on August 12, police said.
Earlier that day, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a truck on the shoulder of Mullica Hill Road near the Route 55 overpass in Harrison.
Joseph Logrande, 67, of Tampa, was struck by a box truck around 12:05 a.m., Harrison police said.
Police reported that the truck driver, a 20-year-old man from Dover, Delaware, suffered no injuries.

When police arrived in Pemberton Township after the accident, they found Bredy’s body on the shoulder of southbound Arney’s Mount Road.
Police believe Bredy was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Arney’s Mount Road while he was traveling west on North Pemberton Road.
